A painting of the Raising of Lazarus based on a print by Rembrandt, along with striking Baroque depictions of skeletons and skulls – *Memento mori*. As part of the Loreto tour, you can enter a replica of the unique crypt space originally located beneath the Loreto Church.

400 Years = 400 Medals ... On the Feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Loreto Sanctuary in Prague will present a limited-edition commemorative medal marking the 400th anniversary of the foundation of the place of pilgrimage. A limited number of medals will also be available for collectors in our museum shop.

On 25 March, symbolically on the Feast of the Annunciation of the Virgin Mary, an exhibition will open to mark the 400th anniversary of the founding of Loreto Prague. The exhibition presents a phenomenon of Baroque devotion that is today rather overlooked: the Loreto chapels — architectural replicas of the Santa Casa, the Holy House of the Virgin Mary from Nazareth, venerated in the Italian town of Loreto.
